Italiano San Marino is a nation if not a project to create a nation strongly resembling the real life nation of San Marino, located in the heartland of Italy. Many aspects of Italiano San Marino intentionally matches many of the real nation's aspects. From here on both Italiano San Marino and San Marino will be referred to be Italiano San Marino, the name of the fictional version.
Italiano San Marino is located in the Apennine Mountains and are both landlocked countries surrounded by Italy. It is also one of the smallest countries in Europe but is the oldest republic in Europe, dating back to 301 AD. Despite being a small country for so long, it had managed to avoid conflict, mainly due to its existence in the Apennine Mountains, a natural barricade. From this the country also has the oldest written constitution in effect.
