The Eternal Light of Luceterna was formed by humans on a world known to its inhabitants as Yonimha. Archaeological evidence suggests that humans once shared the world with another sentient species, backing up the popular theory that humans are not native to the planet.
History
Empire
In 201,910 ASI, Luceterna elected the "Order of Light" as its government. This totalitarian government, lead by Michael Trent banned elections in 201,912. The imperialistic government invaded many of the neighbouring countries, turning Luceterna into an empire.
The rule of the "Order of Light" was ended in 201,942 when the Order devoted most of the military forces of the Empire to an invasion of The Underground City - a place it claimed was populated by demons, and was a threat to Luceterna. With the Order's control of Luceterna weakened, the empire underwent a revolution, and became a democratic republic once more.
Much of the army was destroyed in The Underground City, and those members of the Order that returned were held accountable for their crimes. Michael Trent was never seen again in Luceterna.
