Government and Politics
Luxor-Saqqara is a constitutional monarchy, ruled by a Pharaoh. The Pharaoh is assigned executive power and is commander-in-chief of the Saqqaran armed forces. The legislative branch is bicameral, consisting of a National Assembly and Senate.
The country is subdivided into three regions. Luxor, Saqqara, and the Greater Heliopolis Region. Luxor is located to the south of the country and Saqqara to the north. The Greater Heliopolis Region consists of the capital and its suburbs, and is located in between Luxor and Saqqara.
