The Republic of Macropusia is the name given to the Empire of Macropusia, currently under the rule of Emperor Dosnia of the Dragon Dynasty, currently in the year of 291. Emperor Dosnia currently is concerned with mantaining the outer Colonies and keeping the Internal Treasury in the "Green." He has been in reign for 16 years, and his popularity has never been higher, due to his listening skills and wanting to please his people.

The Beginning of Macropusia

Macropusia was first settled in 742 B.C.A. by settlers from surrounding countries escaping the local wildlife. Macropusia, naturally surrounded by Mountains, provided a perfect haven for the early Macropusians. There they found exotic wildlife such as Kangaroos, Elephants, and Giraffes. After approximately 100 years of aimlessly wandering around, the people finally settled in a city next to a River Delta, calling it Macropus, after the name they had for Kangaroos.

First Settlements

Macropus was thus founded in 604 B.C.A, the first recording of this being made my High King Tropin I. He was made King by the people when he decided to take action and group everyone together and organise their first city. He reigned until 576, when he tragically died drowning in the nearby river. After this, his son, Talliphan, took the throne, and renamed himself Tropin, and became High King Tropin II.

The continuity of the High Kings

Tropin II then began the slow expansion of Macropus into the east, and across the river. His reign became relatively clear of any incidents. He did not, however, produce any heirs, and after his death in 499 at the age of 91, there was a large argument over who would replace him as the next High King.
