Noveta, officially the Communal Union of Noveta (French: Noveta or La Union Communale de Noveta) consists of the islands of Noveta Main, Selegolene, Michelle, Marianne, Louise & Lilanne, along with the minor islands of Sage Island, Majoré Island, East Majoré Island, West Majoré Island, Louis Island, Charles Island and Couture Island, forming an archipelago that is also the largest group of islands that are located in The Macoatian subregion of the Communist Socialist Alliance region.
The Communal Union of Noveta is the most populous country in The Macoatian, with a population of over 20 million people. The many social and cultural characteristics that make Noveta what it is today is the result of different historical events that occurred throughout its history, such as its initial settlement by the indigenous peoples, the massive immigration of French settlers to Noveta during its colonization by France, the induction of African slaves to work in the wineries and sugar cane plantations, the massive immigration of peoples of both Korean and Japanese descent in the years after the end of slavery, to work as indentured servants and the immigration of Afro-Macoatians to build the massive road systems that now make up the main means of transportation throughout the Communal Union.
