The Noz-Igur conflict is a war between the nations Da-Iguru and Nozda, countries separated by cultural and linguistic barriers. Da-Iguru was founded by Igur speakers across Mongolia, Manchuria, and Korea, while speakers of the significantly older and more distinct Noth language still lived in western Mongolia. For centuries there was tension between the eastern Igur and the western Noth, but in late 2004 it culminated to secession and war. For a time there was a threat of nuclear war, but it seems to have subsided. Terrorist groups are active on both sides, and Da-Iguru's military tends to attack civilian buildings in Nozda.
