The colony of Plutoni is an experiment by Professor Emeritus Egbert B. Gebstadter of the Artificial Intelligence University in Zwangzug, who hopes to study the possibilities of human-robot coexistence. Theoretically run by Douglas Palindromi, its inhabitants live in an anarchic state. Computer malfunctions are common, leading to erroneous reports of population greater than the actual 5,040.
Plutonians, as they are known, are as geeky as their peon counterparts, but more athletic (steam hockey is all the rage, and some players are actually decent at it). They could also be considered gymnasts, contorting themselves into various spatial dimensions (five and counting).
