Game History

Pompey FC was founded during the winter months of 2003 to serve as a puppet in the raider organisation The Whole. The main nation that Pompey FC originally played suppliment to resided in Ceaser Caslte under the name "Reborn Carlopia"; founded after the deletion of Carlopia for breach of UN Regulations.

Pompey FC became a fall time native when The Whole moved to The Homeland and Ceaser Caslte was emptied by the Founder, Ceaserland. It served as an Intelligence Captain in The Homeland for the first month of it's stay before becoming a Captain in the Main 1 Division of the army. After a short period of time the ability of the regional leader to be online at update time and a certain amount of high quality raiding saw Pompey FC promoted to the rank of General and given charge of the HSF, Homeland Special Forces; a small, highly trained group who were able to be online at update.

A short time after it's formation, The Homeland merged with other raider regions to form the much feared organisation Invaders. Pompey FC moved in along with the rest of the region, was granted the rank of General and continued to work with the forces from the HSF plus new forces from the other organisations. The division was renamed the 4AMers; although it was by sheer Divisional humour that we nicknamed ourselves "The Cavalry" due to a habit of turning raid results on their heads at the last minute.

In the Spring of 2004, the Invaders army was reformed into two devisions, Algiz and Tiwaz. Pompey FC was awarded the rank of Captain in these divisions, serving directly under General Toshia. Many of the 4AMers were unhappy with this reformation, indeed one Thoughtful Loners (who had recently recieved a promotion) was demoted to the rank of Sergeant by the reformation and left the region. Pompey FC continued to serve in the Invaders army while seeking to enhance their political status throughout NationStates; registering on the forums of the ADN, The North Pacific and many other organisations across the globe.

In July, Toshia was forced to retire from NationStates due to real life issues. Pompey FC became General of the Tiwaz division. However this only lasted a short space of time. The army was reformed once again into one major division and several squads, Pompey FC obtained the delight of becoming the Invaders Field Marshall, in control of the entire army. However this state of affairs only lasted a few short months, school work along with a change of goals in NationStates forced Pompey FC along a road trod by many feet before; Pompey FC retired from the army to serve a minimal political role in NationStates.

During this Political advancement throughout NationStates, Pompey FC became a member of the North Pacific Underground; a society fighting the oppressive forces of the NPD (North Pacific Dictorate).

In December Pompey FC was asked to lead a raid for Invaders as a Christmas celebration, the target; Corporate Islands. The raid went off without a hitch, however it was at this point that Pompey FC decided that the idea of controlling a region appealed to him. On 19th December 2005, he created a new region which he christened The Swamp. Pompey FC immediately set about recruiting nations to this region with some success; The Swamp played host to over 50 nations by the end of it's first week of existance. The Swamp continued to go from strength to strength until August, when tragedy befell the region at it's peak.

An oversight by Pompey FC meant that regional controls were enabled for the UN Delegate. Upon the 2nd elections one "Vincent B" was elected to this position. Upon his appointment and successful initiation, he promptly ejected all 127 native nations from the region. It was this, along with another mounting pile of schoolwork that led the founder of Pompey FC to a stretch of inactivity that last until September 2005. Much thanks must be given to Choong-Moo for holding The Swamp together with the aid of others through these turbulent times. Upon returning in September, Pompey FC realised his dream of spearheading a raider region and turned The Swamp to the noble art of raiding.

To this day Pompey FC resides in The Swamp, leading and partaking in raids under the name of his region.
