Raphael Delgado

Raphael Delgado was part of the rise and rise of Hallad Reavers as they shot to the upper echelons of the Liga with a reputation for strong, tough, fast play that beat most teams into submission.

Placed in a voracious attacking role, Raphael was forever running the attacking-side of things, especially when legendary Reavers' Captain Eomer Hall went 'upstairs' into Management. His performances in the midfield saw him named the best midfielder in the country for Season 1 (though another midfielder, Nick Matranga was named Player of the Year that season, there was some debate as to whether Raphael was actually the best midfielder in the country).

Unfortunately for Raphael, at international level he was forever in the shade of others. Fabricio de Souza Lima and Tetsuo Naoki had already come before him, and he was not up to their standard. He was then overshadowed by Itechton Matranga, among others, and as Hallads reputation waned and Delgado became less and less effective as more and more of the burden was placed upon his shoulders. He would, of course, walk into the all-time Reavers' team, but unfortunately go nowhere near the Starblaydia All-Time XI.
