The Civilised Penguin Land of Renaissancistic People was founded on the 14th June 2005. The owner of the nation is also known as r(R)3naissanc3r, since this is the name under which he registers in most of the NS-related fora. This is also the name under which he is registered in the NSwiki (User: R3naissanc3r).
R3naissanc3r joined the newly-founded then region of The Falkland Islands, a Dominion of Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I), two days after founding Renaissancistic People. Since then, he has never left the region. Soon after he joined the region, he began getting involved in the GB&I forums and was granted citizenship on 26th June 2005.
After a failed candidacy in July 2005, R3naissanc3r was firstly elected in the House of Commons in the General Election of September 2005 and has, since, been a Member of Parliament in all the Parliaments that followed, until nowadays.
Prior to his election in Parliament, he had served as Head of Recruitment (August-September 2005). He has also held the positions of Immigration and Naturalisation Minister (September-November 2005), UN Delegate (November 2005-May 2006), Home Secretary (November 2005-April 2006, May 2006-August 2006), Minister without Portfolio (April 2006-May 2006). Currently, R3naissanc3r holds the position of the Chancellor of Exchequer, in the Cabinet formed by the Prime Minister Klopstock.
R3naissanc3r is also a member of the GB&I Armed Forces, where he helds, since June 2006, the rank of Sergeant.

R3naissanc3r is a fan of penguins. In GB&I, he is also know as R3n, R3, andromech droid or greek penguin. He is the only Greek in GB&I.
R3naissanc3r is the only penguin authorised by the Monarch to carry the title "Royal".
