The Region of Republicans.
A Region for Republicans; nations with Right-Wing & Conservative beliefs with a Pro-Capitalist type government. The Region is devoted to right-wing ideals, morals, conservativism, capitalism, small government, tax cuts, personal freedom, the separation of economy and state and strong economy. Furthermore, The Region of Republicans is opposed to left-wing ideals, socialism, communism, high taxes, big government, and the crazy left-wing liberal agenda.

The First Government.
The first Government elections, after the re-found, came to a close on July 10th, 2006.
For the position of Delegate, Saintlyland held on strong. Saintlyland was a key member during the re-found and when Valori had to step up to Founder position, his commitment to the region and the re-found shone through. While it had been said that his activity levels dropped down towards the end of the first re-found period, the citizens of Republicans had enthusiasm and trusted that Saintlyland would once again shine as he did before.
The position of Foreign Minister once again, went to The Mowers. After Conservative-Americans, the first chosen Founder, decided to abandon the region The Mowers stepped up to the plate and ran for the Delegate position against Saintlyland. However, Saintlyland was the senior member at the time and the re-founders chose him for Delegate. Who knew that his loss in one position would lead to his eventual regional leadership through another. Since the re-found, The Mowers had been one of the two most active government members. Numerous embassies had been opened and not only had the region become a member of ACCEL but so had many national members of Republicans. So, Understandably, it was The Mowers who came out victorious again.
The other executive positions up for grabs over those few weeks were the two positions in the Senate. The original two Senators had become ghosts after they gained their position, and it was felt that their activity was, "Not as good as it could or should have been". Why their activity levels had dropped was unknown, but when it came time for elections it was clear to many citizens, who the devoted Republicans were, and which Republicans no longer fought for the cause. That was why when Nominations hit, two newer nations, Primegenia and Klownhaus were obvious candidates. Since Primegenia's arrival, he had strived to make the region better. He instituted a Role-Play system and became an active member of the off-site forums. The other candidate, Klownhaus, had proven himself as well. When Klownhaus first joined he offered to take over the Map systems, a position that had struggled to be held onto and he too became one of the more active forum members.
The final position up for grabs was the position of Recruitment Minister, an office that had not been held yet. While the Ministry of Recruitment is not an executive position, it is one vital to the well being of Republicans. The Minister of Recruitment is expected to write Telegrams, which can be sent out to new nations, and to work on other ways of recruiting new people, that was why the job was perfect for the victor, The VI. Valori stated, "The VI is a Socialist, and who better to make people believe that we are an open, yet Conservative region, than somebody who disagrees with our political beliefs but has still come to call our region a second home."
