The people of Robmuirpoems have traditions of libertarianism, liberality, acquisitiveness and bone idleness. They pose no military threat to their neighbours and, if invaded, will have to rely on their high-tech police and outraged civilians for defence. They value education for its own sake and because being educated enables one to get more stuff and there's less heavy lifting involved. The elected government has a policy of low taxation and cannot quite understand why it takes most of its citizen's money off them.
