Fairbanks made the cover of the October 2007 Edition of Y Magazine

Roselle Fairbanks (40, born of Ersatz) is the Kingdom of Einmyria's Ambassador to the United Nations. She was elected to the position from within the foreign ministry after the United Nations accepted Einmyria's application for membership, under the Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Leeuvenhoek's directive. After she was elected, she had an audience with HRH Queen Joanne, who gave her consent. According to Leeuvenhoek during the announcement of her victory at the elections, "She has been part of the diplomatic service for more than 20 years and she will be an asset to our nation."

Fairbanks has pushed for Einmyrian involvement in the Mission to Bulma, and for a peaceful resolution to the issues within Bulma. The Einmyria regiment of the United Nations provided the security escort for the UN Ambassador on his mission to Bulma, and assisted in the monitoring of ceasefires and ensure the peace between the government and separatist groups, as well as between that of the government and opposition pro-democracy groups. As part of the security council in charge of the mission, Fairbanks has also considered sending one or two more long-term observers to the nation as a precautionary measure, but no moves have yet been made.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has, unfortunately, classified Fairbanks' personal background information for security's sake, and, they claim, to protect her privacy. However, there are some rumors which say that Fairbanks' background was sealed in order to conceal the fact that she was a former member of the Intelligence section of the military section that conducted clandestine missions in a very unofficial capacity. Regardless of whether the rumors are true or false, the fact she is the only member of the Ministry that has a private profile has made many wonder whether the "public elections" from within the Ministry was manipulated in order to pave her ascent to leadership.

Y Magazine's interview of Fairbanks similarly depicted an enigmatic woman who was fairly quick to see where the questions were leading. In response to the privacy seal, she said, "Personally, I have been very grateful for the seal. As a representative of Einmyria, I don't know if I could have handled seeing others try to twist my friends and family for their own ends. I have learnt many things in my time in the diplomatic corps, and most of them were not pretty. I would like to spare my loved ones any undue amount of pain...and as a public figure, I believe that the privacy seal is to their benefit. Wouldn't you want that for your own loved ones?"

As for the idea that she was a spy, Fairbanks fairly laughed and categorically denied it. "What fertile imaginations we Einmyrians have! Too many spy novels available in the press, methinks. No, if I were a spy, I doubt I would be hiding under a privacy seal. That would be entirely too obvious, and the best spies are meant to blend in, right? If I was a spy, I wouldn't mind a few of the perks...terribly gorgeous men or women at my side, depending on the situation...a fancy car...wonderful wardrobe...fancy gadgets...Anyway, I digress. I don't think Einmyria really has an Intelligence agency. To be honest, we're too small a nation to have one. What would we spy on? The export of illegal books? Neighboring cheese czars? That would be absolutely ridiculous!"
