Geography
The People's Republic of Shildonia is located near the centre of the North Atlantic, roughly equidistant between North America and the United Kingdom. The largest island in the Shildonian Island Chain is called Shildonia, and is home to the bulk of the population. In terms of size, it is approximatly the same as Greenland. A chain of four smaller islands are located off the north-east coast, with the nearest being a mere 50 miles off shore, and the furthest being almost 225miles off the coast.
Climate
The climate in Shildonia is quite cold, especially in the north of the country and more than half of days are overcast. However, the more southerly parts of the country, particularly near Heignton are quite warm during the summer, and prove a popular destination for holidaymakers.
