The small but feisty nation of Smukkeland worships its Queen (with a capital Q) as if she were their mother, which is how she thinks of herself. Despite some fringe groups' concerns about civil rights and political freedoms, the nation's human and canine inhabitants are happy, healthy, well-educated and free from the tyrrany of the automobile.
Smukke XIII has extended long arms of trade into many regions and nations, offering the NS's best pizza/delivery as well as breeding pairs of the nation's cute fuzzy puppies. It's not that Her Supreme Cuteness objects to other industries; they simply avoid the nation because of its near-socialist bent (and related taxes).
Her Exalted Adorableness also enjoys her position as the founder and UN delegate for the region of Happy Valley.
