History
The Early Years
Recent discoveries in caves along one side of the cliffs in the Lenham National Park have revealed traces of burning and flintwork and reports suggest that people lived in Kent almost 50 million years ago. During the meno-spade era Kent was a hive of local trade to and from the continent, being a nation with such a rich coastline Kent benifited from such a wealthy trade network with neighbouring nations.
Kent was disputed territory in the 1600's, Lords, Barons, Knights and Priests had claimed land and then lost again and all the states of Kent were in civil dispute about who owned what.
