Chairman Steve Smith is leader of The People's Federation of Smithania, and developer of Smithanian Socialism. He is often accredited to bringing freedom to the nation of Smithania and forming a formidable Federation.
Childhood
Steve Smith was born in 1977, in present day Columbus, Homeland Republic (then known as the Duchy of Wilfor). He never knew his father, who was killed in battle, but his mother was Leigh Ann Smith, who worked in food services. At the age of 14, he joined the Freedom Rebellion, and quickly rose through the ranks as a formitable fighter.
Teen Years
From the age of 14 on, Smith has a knack for battle, being able to use, repair and train on any weapon available, even a Jet Fighter. At 17, he skillfully manuvered the ranks and at 17 he took over his divison, leading them to several victories, he entered to Old Kingdom and destroyed the Monarchy, as Jets from The Empire of Camozayo held the air. Soon, the duchies under Monarchy control feel to his Rebellion's hands and he took the reigns, within months, most of the former extent of the kingdom feel into his interm government.
Adult Years
After the first government set-up, Smith immediatley was elected to lead the Democratic Republic of Smithania, named after him. Each Duchy became a Province in the system and that system worked until war was declared by Krupponia, starting a period where defence became his primary concern.
After leaving the Alpha Centuari area, Smithania became a Federation, the provinces were then known as Republics, united under a strong Federal Union. This Federation was Capitalist at first, but the suffering of the people inspired him to give them a helping hand. Smithanian Socialism was developed and the Federation of Smithania was abolished and replaced by The People's Federation of Smithania, under the idealogy of Smithanian Socialism.

Character
Smith is very unbecoming of conflicts, after facing several battles himself, hes knows of suffering and tends to limit it as best he can. Smith has a strong tendency to keep to himself as far as his personallity and feelings go, although his sense of humour shines through quite well. Like most Smithanian citizens, Smith takes residence in a simple apartment, the only luxeries he allows himself are a study and library for his writing and policical work. Smith is a big fan of Classic Rock and Heavy Metal, so much so that the Smithanian Anthem is in Electric Guitar offically.
