Gibberish America is a North Atlantic territory of the United States, home to a large Chinese-American population, retail and aerospace industry, is often called the "Manhattan of the North Atlantic." It is located on an island the size of Pennsylvania south of Greenland, and is covered by cities, alpine forests, tundra, and mountains 7000 feet tall. The country has prospered with the influx of millions of immigrants and the development of the country's trade, which has let to the development of large cities and a large military. In the recent years, the country has fought in several wars against communist-backed and Islamic fundamentalist nations, eliminating the fundamentalists and leaving the communists to quell.

Etymology
The name for the new nation given in 2002 was disputed between the U.S. Navy Admirals who discovered the island that same year. Names such as New Greenland and Snowsylvania were suggested, until an Army General who walked in the conference room was annoyed by the situation and called it "a bunch of gibberish." The Navy officers, being given the idea with the word "Gibberish," decided to use the word in the country's new name. So, in June 2002, the United States of Gibberish America was formed.
Geography
Gibberish America is a volcanic island, though the once-active Mount York is now extinct. The island covers an area of 45,000 square miles (about the size of Pennsylvania). It lies west of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, and frequent seismic activity such as very small earthquakes is common. Climates vary throughout the island. On the west and north coasts, alpine forests dominate surrounding areas around cities. To the east and south sides, a more temperate climate dominates with lush deciduous forests. The central regions is mostly tundra and polar ice, since the altitudes in those regions exceed 4,000 feet above sea level. The rest of the land's altitudes remain in between 0-300 feet above sea level.
History
On June 16, 2002, the Gibberish American government was founded. A constitution was modeled, and construction of cities began. On July 2, military engineers discovered large deposits of resources such as uranium and diamonds within the central regions, allowing businesses to expand. On August 5, the United States agreed to concentrate 850,000 troops to Gibberish America because of its low crime rates, and the nation tripled in population. It was Gibberish America's Golden Age. Sales, housing starts, stocks, and profits were high. The nation was abundant in resources and military strength. Myron Kalashnikov had become the richest person in Gibberish America because of his successful companies USMI, Globex, and Capitalist Corporation Enterprises. The nation had advanced technology such as AMDS systems and fusion power plants. The government was liberal, approval ratings were high, and crime was very low. By January 2005, Gibberish America was able to give 10% of its surplus resources to Indonesia after the great tsunami. It seemed a new era of peace was at hand.
However, on January 28, 2005, that peace was shattered. A Russian Aeroflot Airlines DC-10 headed for M4A1 USA was shot down over the North Atlantic by a long-range IM-35 Tachrov Missile from Kashtanistan, a breakaway Russian Communist state. 42 were killed and 190 were hospitalized for third-degree burns. That same day, a Russian nuclear submarine docked in MP5 harbor was destroyed by an SS-C1 SCUD missile from again, Kashtanistan. After a conference at NATO headquarters in AK-47 USA, the NATO/ Russian forces declared war on Kashtanistan. On February 18, Russian-NATO forces, supported by Klow Rebels, launched a guerilla campaign inside Kashtanistan. Many important cities were captured, and the country was eventually liberated. After the war, Gibberish America found many client states supporting free enterprise and democracy.
Later, NATO found out that a terrorist-funding state south of Iraq had been built by the Iraqi insurgency, resulting in a police action that left 5,000 dead. Again, Gibberish America remained victorious, but government stopped police actions and saved them for when they were needed the most. The elections of November 2006 let President Le in a landslide victory against a long front of Democrats. With the same president in office for another four years, the war can expect to go on, while conditions improve at home.
Not so long after in January 2007, Western Serbia was hit by tornadoes, floods, tsunamis, and most of all, blizzards. After relief was sent to Serbia, renegade military forces seized Adjikistan in Tajikistan, Zekistan in Iran, and Equatorial Kundu in Zaire. With a military that could mobilize quicker than ever, the nation overthrew the forces in Zaire, Iran, and Tajikistan in less than nine hours under the command of then-general Peter Szendrenyi.
Though Western Serbia was given relief, the state forces quarreled over resources and civil war broke out, causing Serb President Boris Tadic to declare martial law. The Eruseans led by Pavel Suvorov headed for State City yet were stopped by Yuktobanian, Osean, and US forces at State City Airport and were pushed back to Hac. In retaliation, a SerbAir 747 crashed into the Aurelian Capitol Building killing the Aurelian President and Senate. Meanwhile, "re-education" camps were raided and a secret weapon believed to be a CSS-4 ICBM arrived at US Camp Los Canas. As coalition forces surrounded Alendai, Erusea, Serbia, the Erusean forces aimed SCUDs at Belgrade in an all-out ditch attempt. However, an unknown nuclear missile strike believed to be from the Americans and Russians hit Alendai, killing 167,345 people mainly soldiers. The general responsible was captured and executed at Sremska Mitrovica prison.
In Novistrana, however, things were looking different. Novistranian President Vasily Karasov had formed a new USSR and took over eastern Kashtanistan and set up client states in socialist San Esperito,Venezuela, North Korea, Hungary, the Balkans, and the West Crimea. The U.S., in turn responded with other client states ready to attack the others. With both countries reaching for their nukes, a new Cold War seemed to arise.
After quick direct action between the two Koreas in Operation Panda and Central America in Just Cause, an election was held in October 2007. With Republican Former Vice President Lai winning the election, President Lai now has to face multilateral problems facing the country such as the risk of nuclear attack, economic decline, and the risk of Soviet invasion. However, Lai proved to be successful president and now leads the country as not only the second president, but a major world player in politics. Due to his success, the Housing and Minuteman Act passed in 2007 helped fund a need for security to counter foreign threats and fueled the economy with job opportunities.

The official language of Gibberish America is obviously English, as it is part of the United States. Also Chinese is widely used since most Gibberish Americans are Chinese-Americans. English has become the official language of Gibberish America because of its common use in business and politics and is thus spoken by all government and corporate officials. However, other Gibberish Americans speak their home language at home or with friends.

Gibberish America has one of the world's largest GDP's, having a capitalist economy and being abundant in resources for export, which are aluminum, aerospace, silicon, titanium, textiles, citrus, gems, diamond, iron, steel, copper, tin, paper, rice, wheat, corn, fish, silver, uranium, gold, dye, wine, cotton, silk, lumber, alternative fuels, sugar, wine, spices, weapons, and vehicles. Much of the industries are headquartered in the major cities, while, the factories and manufacturing plants are located on the cities' outer edges.

Society
Education is funded by the private sector or government. To follow law in the mainland, going to a local school is a requirement. There are four major types of schools:elementary schools with grades K to 6, middle schools with grades 7 and 8, high schools with grades 9 to 12, and universities and colleges for those who want to seek careers. Basic subjects such as history, math, science, and English are taught, but children are also taught technology, physical education, military technology, political systems of the world, and foreign countries. English is taught as an official language, but elective languages such as Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese (Mandarin), or Norwegian is taught to multilingual people.

Crime
Gibberish America has some of the lowest crime rates in the world. Due to the state-of-the-art technology used by the police, SWAT Teams, FBI, and military, crime stays under control. However, most crime is kept under control by citizens who know right from wrong, as they are taught about crime and other extracurricular subjects in school.

The equipment of the Gibberish American armed forces are primarily NATO made, but Russian weapons are also used in terrorist hotspots where soldiers can use the enemy's equipment against them for maximum effectiveness. The USMI-modified M4A1 and AK-47 are the standard assault rifles for all forces. Then, there's the Colt M-16A2, H&K G3, H&K MP5 (all models), IMI Uzi, MAC-10, Akaban AN-94, Bizon PP-19, and the Colt CAR-15 for excellent firepower against enemy squads. The standard squad machine gun is the M-249 or Pecheneg, and the M-60, Kord, or M2HB Browning machine guns are selected for vehicle and numerous infantry targets. The standard sidearm is the Beretta M-9 or Desert Eagle, but the Stechkin APS and the Mk-23 SOCOM are preferred by special forces. Knife use in the army is limited to machetes and Ka-Bars, but troops are expertly trained for close combat when it is needed. Grenades used are the M-67 frag, M-18 smoke, and flashbangs. Antitank infantry are usually armed with Stinger AA or Javelin AT missiles, but use TOW and Predator missiles when using vehicle-served weapons such as those on the M998 HMMWV. Last of all, come to snipers, who are armed with the M-82A1 Barret, M-24 SWS, L-115A1 Arctic Warfare Magnum, H&K PSG-1, and the SR-25.
Vehicles used by the Gibberish Americans are diverse, ranging from the M1A2 Abrams High-Priority MBT to the M270 MLRS Mobile Artillery Battery. Tanks provide the primary firepower, with the M1A2 TUSK/HP Abrams and the T-95 Black Eagle in service. Antiaircraft vehicles range from the Humvee Avenger to the the AMX-30 AA/AT. Then come the artillery, which exclusively, are the M270 MLRS and the BM-122 Smerch. APCs in the Gibberish American forces are the Stryker, M2/M6 Bradley, and the AMX-30. Last of all, are the workhorse of the Armed Forces: the standard 5-ton truck and the M998 HMMWV (Humvee).
The aircraft in the Gibberish American provide excellent defense and attack capabilities. Fighters used are the F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-16 Falcon, F-18 Hornet, MiG-29 Fulcrum, Su-27 Flanker, and the F-22 Raptor. Bombers used are the latest in technology and provide a powerful punch against enemies on the ground. The bombers include the B-2 Spirit, B-1 Lancer, B-52 Stratofortress, and the Tu-160 Blackjack. Helicopters are numerous, including the AH-64 Apache, AH-1 Cobra, UH-1 Huey, UH-60 Blackhawk, CH-47 Chinook, RAH-66 Comanche, and the OH-53 Kiowa Warrior.
Special forces in the nation are considered to be given the best training in the world. The Army has control over Urban Combat Rangers, Mountain Divisions, Desert/Jungle Pathfinders, and a Tactical Relief Force. The Air Force uses the Search and Rescue/Destroy Force and the Night Ops Predator Force. Marines use recon divisions, an expeditionary force, and their own SAR/SAD force. Last comes the Navy which uses River Patrol and First Strike Units.
The military is responsible for guarding ICBMs and SLBMs used in times of emergency, but the president must give authorization before missile launch. Missiles include the Minuteman III, Peacekeeper, and CSS-4.
The Navy is small, but its capabilities are huge. The Gibberish Americans use U.S. and Russian-made ships like the JFK class aircraft carrier and the Typhoon "Akula" Nuclear Missile Submarine.
