The Oppressed Peoples of The Black Wolf Faction is a tiny revolutionist group devoted to the implementation of democracy into their beloved homeland, Qarez. They believe that democracy is an inherent right and that the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.
Little else is known about the group. The official factbook states that:
The Oppressed Peoples of The Black Wolf Faction is a very large, safe nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate population of 73 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 38%, but much higher for the wealthy. A large private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Retail and Trout Farming.
Child labor has been outlawed, The Black Wolf Faction's educational system is the envy of many and regarded as a pinnacle of educational achievement, strict term limits have been applied to all elected offices, and streakers swamp all public events in order to bare it all. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown. The Black Wolf Faction's national animal is the black wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the credit.
