The Blindmen, officially The Kingdom of The Blindmen, is a country in the east of StormKingdom region. The west mountains of Decia forms the northern border with Sturms, the Friluia river the border with Saint Jacques in the east, and the Santiago sea the south and west border.
History
The Blindmen was founded by Harold Giestsse, in 1415, who founded the capital city, Blindaurbo, in Nocaodia, a territory abandoned by the Kingdom of Sturms. Harold Giestsse was a noble, dissident of the politics of the Great Duchy of Liechtensburg. The name of The Blindmen come from the denomination that the Great Duke of Liechtensburg Friedrich V made of followers of Harold Giestsse, who, in fact, was blind, due to a punishment made by the same Great Duke. The Harold Giestsee's army (the Army of The Blindmen) won the Battle of Baaqa, in the foot of the Decia mountains, in 1417, and gained the independence.
Politics
The Blindmen are known for their "konsilioj", and their "asembleoj". The "konsilioj" are charged of government, in their district; the "asembleoj" are charged of justice, accomplishing the right of being judged by the people. The is no hierarchy between the "konsilioj", but the greatest "konsilio", the "konsilio" of Blindaurbo, are ruled by the "kunulo" (fellow) Tepo Festsee, until january of the next year. The leader of the "konsilioj" can't be reelected, and can't postulate more than once. The king, Lotar III, from the Giestsee dinasty, serves in the "konsilio" of Blindaurbo, as all citizens, but is charged of the Foreign Policy of the State. The "asembleoj" are rotative, and people are elected to a particular case, as Common Law jury, but there is no judge.
National Symbols
The nation adopted the Esperanto as official language to evitate discrimination, but the minorities are allowed to speak their own language, even as official language of the "konsilio", with predominance of German dialects. The national animal is the wolf, and is protected. The national flower is the bouganvilia.
Culture
The Blindmen have many famed philosophers, writers, painters, and actors. On many "konsilioj", the arts are largely protected, and receive founding to follow its labour. The Blindmen have a Royal Arts Academy, that gives the "Filtsee Prize" each year, in the categories of Writing, Painting, Sculpting, Architecture, and Philosophy.

Marks of the Country
The UN has declared in September, 25 that The Blindmen is one of the highest rates of unemployemnt in the world (847th in the world), an alarmant ranking. The king Lotar III replied to the numbers of the UN, saying that The Blindmen has other concept of work, being more concentrated in the collective effort of all citizens, and that is no other emplyer than oneself.
