A Brief History

When The Great Commonwealth first joined nationstates his first home was in Alpha omega. Shortly after his arrival he was elected the UN Delegate of the then small region, a position which he held for some time until he later became head of recruitment (a period in which the membership of Alpha omega rose to over 90) and finally head of foreign affairs. When Alpha omega was a member of ACCEL The Great Commonwealth became first a member and then Alpha omega's Director to ACCEL. When Alpha omega left ACCEL he stayed on at ACCEL as a member and was for a short time an UnderSecretary until eventually a lack of time forced a resignation from the Alliance. When Alpha omega became a Prefecture of The New Meritocracy he joined the Senate of the region and served a term as Praetor. In his second term he resigned due to a lack of time to commit to the role. When Alpha omega underwent a constitutional reform he became the leader of a party called the Rubicon but due to a lack of activity within the party it never became a success. The Great Commonwealth is now in retirement although a return to NationStates is possible in the future.
