The Danaan High Kingdom of the Resurgent Dream, one of two realms that make up the Islands of Mists, located off the coast of Tareldanore, is a mixed kingdom of Fairies and Humans kingdom long ruled by a constitutional monarchy. Relying solely on magic and the most basic of rudimentary technologies until very recently, its people are still learning to make their way in the modern world. While it has many friends, the Resurgent Dream has historically very hesitant about formal alliances of any kind, preferring to base its relations with the world on less legalistic bonds. However, this policy is beginning to change.
Agwene of the Resurgent Dream has recently ascended to the throne of the high queens. Under her rule, rapid modernization has taken place, largely due to newly forged ties with Akaton and Menelmacar.
The Danaan High Kingdom consists of six kingdoms.
