Background

The Danaan High Kingdom of the Resurgent Dream is a rich, island nation. In addition to the main island of the Resurgent Dream, properly called Dana but usually referred to as the mainland or the Resurgent Dream proper, the Resurgent Dream claims numerous other islands immediately surrounding her as well as a small moon colony, Selinia, and a huge section of the Dreaming known as Garmar. The Resurgent Dream is a diverse nation where Fae, Humans, and other races live together, generally in peace and prosperity. The Resurgent Dream is known for making decisions on moral grounds and most political differences are based on differences in opinion over what the right thing for the state to do is. That being said, the Resurgent Dream does possess a comparatively large class of hereditary nobles and is subject to the normal courtly manuevers and intrigues that come with such a class. The great majority of the nation's people are devoutly religion. Though many faiths are practiced in the Resurgent Dream, Danaanism remains the official state religion and the religion of the overwhelming majority of the populace.
