Overview
The Shin-Ra Corporation is a sprawling business entity, primarily concerned with the fields of energy generation and arms manufacturing [However it has effectively produced in-house an array of goods and services which transgress the boundaries of the former]. The home of this immense company is an extensive chain of inhabited islands found in the south-west Pacific ocean, known only as "The Shin-Ra Territories".
Governmental information & Related facts
These Territories do not possess a de-facto government of conventional type but are instead directly administrated by The Shin-Ra Corporation; creating a new class of governmental style termed "Absolute-Corporatism". By absorbing lesser niche markets beneath a general umbrella organisation and obtaining total monopolies within key industries such as electricity, public services and state defence contracts The Shin-Ra Corporation quickly effectively replaced the reigning authority in all areas bar beaucracy.
When near-total control was established, the Shin-Ra simply made their decision to imminently demand payment of the multiple and spiralling loans made by them to the national government known. With no conceivable method of repayment, and the entirety of the Police and Armed Forces not only privatised to the Shin-Ra but under their effective command, the authories of the Territories were left with little alternative; absorbed as they were into the corporate ladder and handed effectively ceremonial positions within.
Structure & Organisation
From a purely logical point, the structure of The Shin-Ra Corporation is similiar to any existing government; Considering both are adept at or once were at serving the public, this comes as no suprise or shock.
The post of Executive-President however actually resembles more the line of succession for a Monarchy, rather than the C.E.O. of a company. The family line which lends the name "Shin-Ra" to the Corporation supplies the Executive-President, traditionally the eldest and most respected, though it has not been uncommon for a younger and more power-hungry member of the family to win the role.
International Operations
The Shin-Ra Corporation has recently began to expand its operations abroad, founding several associated entities in the nations explored and found to be promising trade partners. Though such expansions are still in their infancy, considerable progress has been made with the fruitful understanding gained with Iraqstan.

The headquarters of Shin-Ra [Iraqstan] Inc. can be found in the nation's capital city Sirithilia, where it holds the honour of highest building amidst the skyline and continues to coardinate and maintain the close business relationship of the two powers.
