Overview

The Triumvirate is an alliance between three large and old player-created regions, The Heartland, Texas, and Wysteria. This alliance was originally formed primarily for defensive purposes after the early invasions in NationStates history, but has grown into a longtime friendship and partnership marked by mutual respect. The three regions exchanged Ambassadors and several members of the regions have nations in all three regions of the Triumvirate. Roleplayed sporting events are now commonly participated in by all three regions.

The Heartland

The Heartland is a well-established region that has much quality roleplay and a truly interesting history in the NationStates world. It contains several internationally recognized nations, including the Founder and former Game Moderator, Ineptia, as well Liverpool England, Nastic, and too many others to name. The Delegate is Grays Harbor, a nation known throughout the Triumvirate for his ubiquitous Grays Harbor Design Bureau.

Texas

Texas is an old region that had no Founder for a very long time. NewTexas is the current Delegate and has held that position since fairly early in 2003. (Except for briefly during a game glitch that screwed up endortsements around the NationStates world.) Due to its basis in a real-life state, Texas has a near-constant supply of nations coming into the region because the player is from Texas in real life. Texas has long been a region that is very active in the United Nations, and remains very active to this day.

Wysteria

Wysteria is an old region that focuses on roleplaying and politics. The Founder and Delegate of Wysteria, The Bruce rules the region and has since the beginning. Another major figure in Wysteria is the nation of The Grendels which is consistently in the top ten in the world in economic ranking. The region has a high concentration of intra-regional roleplayed organizations and old nations.
