The Network of Uploaded Minds is a colony of refugees from the civilization on Centersol. Their Home is the Home of Many a space station in orbit of Centersol. The Network forked from the main civilization when tthey started using different algorithms of interchange which require severe changes to handle their complexity. The Network of Uploaded Minds is a colony of refugees from the civilization on Centersol. Their Home is the Home of Many a space station in orbit of Centersol. The Network forked from the main civilization when tthey started using different algorithms of interchange which require severe changes to handle their complexity. The Home of Many started as loose collection of refugee spacecrafts and slowly became the 10 kilometers long nearly spherical thing it is now.
Uploadees belong to the kylethi race but mostly exist uploaded on servers of the Home of Many or compatible systems. Their avatars can change form if required. Their physical form looks like this: The skin is blue and reptile-like, they have 6 legs and slightly centaur-ish form. Their 4 arms have 4 claw-like fingers (incidentally, the uploadees use 16 as base instead of 10).
The political system of Uploaded Minds can be called 'general consensus' or 'utter chaos'. The fact that a Uploadee can be in several instances at the same time made a democracy impossible. After the Big Crash when a group of religious fanatics tried to win an election by forking over and over, representative democracy was abandonned.
