User:Love and esterel

Hi,

I’m relatively new (early august 2005) to this wonderful game and i like it more and more.

i try to roleplay my Nation: Love and esterel, in a near but not so far future (very few years ahead).

The main activity of my nation is to participate in the UN debate and propose UN resolutions. At the beginning i did it by only improving the draft on the UN forum: #118 The Sex Education Act and #121 Adoption and IVF Rights.

But now i’m more interested by co-authoring resolution with others nations: #124 Repeal "Promotion of Solar Panels" with Ficticious Proportions; #125 Repeal "DVD Region Removal" and “Worldwide Media Act” (in queue): both in a Tri-Alliance with Jey and Richard2008.

i'm mainly interested in human (and sentient) rights, new-technologies, progressive economic and social ideas, new philosophies and theologies (religious or not) and about the evolution of human (and sentient) beings and societies.

The UN forum is a good way for me to learn about different toppics and also to practice English, as it’s not my native language.

My other objective is to achieve the following for my nation:

- “Civil Rights Lovefest” UN Category

- “Powerhouse” or “Thriving” economy

- Intelligent population

- Healthy private sector led by the Information Technology industry

- Average income tax rate <=55%

- Crime relatively low

- Nation's many lush forests

I managed to get it for very few days, but then i made bad governance decisions and i’m now only a “Inoffensive Centrist Democracy”
