The Urban Industrial Area of Veltia (Danish: Det Urbane Industrielle Område Veltia) is a nation in the MMORPG called Jennifer Government: NationStates. It's a average sized nation which tries to remain Neutral & Pacifistic. However because of recent riots among the youth the government was forced to focus on Law & Order. Also another notable thing about Veltia is the Government support of Information Technology. The Government does whatever it can to expand the Information Technology sector, even if it means destroying nature.

History (Reallife)
Veltia was founded in October 2005, and in November 2005 Veltia were soon to be joined by his best friends IRL Nautiluss and Gremanien. As Veltia by August 2005 had to move to Switzerland, Nautiluss and Gremanien began doing their best to expand the knowlegde about NationStates in Veltias old homeroom. By November 2005 Veltia and Nautiluss both moved permanently to Amazenien, which was founded by Gremanien and in January 2006 they where joined by 7 others from Veltias old homeroom. This was later to be described as Amazeniens first Golden Age. As not very unusual the friends intererst to NationStates was lacking and they returned to play other games even as NationStates didn't require much attention. Also by this time Veltia, Nautiluss and Gremanien all reached 500.000.000 population milestone. A few months vent on and Nautiluss also quitted NationStates. December 2006 Gremanien was deleted. This was because that Gremanien had forgotten his password for the Nation. Veltia began recruiting and Terra Scandinavia joined in what became Amazeniens second Golden Age. However, even as Terra Scandinavia and Veltia worked hard with Veltia as UN Delegate it all failed and within a few months Veltia were the only one left active. Veltia began recruiting again and Finlandites joined. However a gang of terrorists from Mongolian Guard invaded Amazenien and by luck some Game Moderator found out they had multiple UN nations and removed all their UN status, however a new nation named Gremanian joined Amazenien. Veltia believed it to be another Terrorist attempt to get control, however it turned out to be old Gremanien who rejoined with a new name.
The name Veltia comes from the fact that the founder (Vagn) was called Vagn I Helvetia (English: Wayne In Switzerland) by the time so he wanted it to be familiar but not the same, plus it shouldn't make sense. He choose Veltia because: Vagn I Helvetia.
History (Fictive)
In the fictive story of Veltia, the Veltian people got independency in acient time. As soon as they got their own they helped Gremanien & Nautiluss getting their independency. During Medieval time the Veltian Army fought alongside Gremanien and Nautiluss for various other people who wished to be independent, however Veltia lost the war and decided to remain neutral, a policy Gremanien & Nautiluss adapted aswell. During the Renaissance and the Discovery Age Veltia focused on trading with the New World, to say Veltia achieved alot would be wrong, but by the time the king became very powerfull. In 1914 at the outbreak of World War 1, Veltia supported the Central Powers finacially, but when Germany lost the war Veltia was left very poor. The King resigned and Veltia became a republic. A Communistic revolution happened and during World War 2 Veltia supported Soviet Russia with tanks and industry. The Economic grew great again, but when the Iron Curtain fell and the Soviet Russia collapsed everyone expected Veltia to become Capitalistic, however Veltias people overthrew the Communistic government and appointed a leader Vagn who, supported by the people began working Veltia towards a socialistic politic. This expanded the population massively and the Cities grew enormously to hold all the Citizens. Because Veltia weren't very big, the Urban concentration became massively and soon most of the country was covered by 3 massive cities.
History (The Twax Story)
Warning Spoiler for The Twax Story
In the novel The Twax Story Veltia is a 15 year old boy. He lives in the world we know except it's the future. He is a Captain in the Rebel Group The Blue Brigade. After a battle he is sent on a mission to Geneva where he is to talk to some person, he finds out the person is his father Vagn I Helvetia and that he has a twin brother named Vagn who is serving in the Swiss army by the rank Captain. Vagn I Helvetia and Vagn travels to the capital of the Beneluxstates (It's in the future where Belgium, Netherlands and Luxumborg joined together). Vagn leaves the Swiss army to become a Intelligence Officer in The Blue Brigade while Vagn I Helvetia forms The Blue Brigade party in the government. Time goes by and Veltia fights in wars against various countries. One day Veltia is taken as a P.O.W and later Executed. In The Blue Brigade nobody wished to take over the company Veltia was leading so Vagn is reassigned to become Company leader. After many years Vagns father is dead and most people from The Blue Brigade have eventually put their background as rebels behind them as The Blue Brigade gained power and rules the country now. However, the country is unnamed and therefore is not accepted as a Nation. By the same time a spirit or ghost begins hunting the capital. It seems it's Veltia who returned from the dead and eventually Vagn finds out. He tries to get in physically contact with the spirit, and when it happens Vagn and Veltia becomes one person. Vagn talks with some friends about it and the friends who fought in Veltias company suggests that Veltia should acctually be reconised for what he did for The Blue Brigade. They bring it up in The Blue Brigades assemblies. A vote is taken but there is a evennumber of voters so it's undecided. In the last minute of the votation Danny (who deserted earlier in the story, and is roughly based on the IRL person of Gremanien) turns up and votes in favour that the nation should be called Veltia. End of story. The Twax Story is eventually not finished yet and most of the plot is just outlined.

Flag of Veltia
The flag of Veltia is a nordic cross flag. The White Cross with the Red Outline is to look familiar to the Danish flag Dannebrog because Veltia is Danish. The Blue in the top symbolises Loyalty (to his friends) above himself which is symbolised by the Orange. Oranged is selected as the colour to represent Veltias IRL personality as it's a mixture of Yellow and Red; Yellow for Anarchy and Red for Socialism. The Blue is over the Orange which means that Veltia is willing to help his friends before helping himself. The Orange Star in the Upper-Left corner is to symbolise the Republic. It's also in Orange to symbolise that Veltia is also Loyal to himself.
