The Virtual Roman Catholic Church (V.R.C.C.) is a unified organization aiming to spread the Word of God by recognizing the authority of Pope Benedict XVI in Nation-States, and honoring the Mother Church by creating the pretend clergy, offering titles such as: Prelature Pope, Cardinal, and Bishop.

Unlike other Catholic regions, ARCC does not consist of one region and does not see the members of ARCC clergy as equal to that of real clergymen. Instead, ARCC aims to help Catholics in the game talk and debate, while holding titles to honor the true clergy of the Church.

The ARCC has died more than once. One of the big problems with the VRCC is that it tries to combine role-playing with reality. Because of this there is no real way to see the difference between what is real and meant to be spreading the word and what is just role-playing because in case of role-playing you do not specifically have to say what you as a person think about matters but can act rather from your role than from reality. This has lead to big controversies between Catholic Regions and players in Nation States.

However for many months, the region of Catholic has waged a war against the peaceful organisation which it claims is misleading people. Its tactics have included spamming rmb's, invading both member regions and the VRCC forums, and discussing a full invasion of Vatican Provinces using the popular UN delegate method. The ARCC have extended a truce to Catholic on many occasions, but as yet Catholic have not kept to them.

(Note We the Members of VRCC do not see the Prelature Pope or any other people of the "clergy" as equal to that in authority, power, and respect as that in real life.)

Part I-II; RCCA

The Roman Catholic Church Alliance began in the month of July, 2006. Its first Prelature Pope was A-W Cream Soda, an Archbishop of St Margaret Mary (of Fire Breathing Fish). During which Prelature Pope A-W Cream Soda lead the RCCA during its first negotiations with the region of Catholic and saw the RCCA reach its peak when consisting well over 1000 nations.

However, as the summer began to end, so did the activity of many regions, and nations. This ultimately caused the destruction of the RCCA as roles of the pretend clergy could not be filled. In the month of December, 2006, the Prelature Pope was impeached by the College of Cardinals and Council of Bishops as a result of his "easiness on homosexuality." Though no one truly know whether or not it was a justified cause, it resulted in his resignation and the next election of the Prelature Pope.

With a lame duck College, many favoring re-electing the former Prelature Pope, and the other half favoring a new one, a compromise was made. The College agreed to elect Cardinal Jake XII as Prelature Pope with his moderate views and love for Jesus Christ.

During which a revival met the R.C.C.A. bringing encouragement to its members and organizers. However, inactivity began to get worse during January and it resulted in the Prelature Pope Jake XII annoucing the closing of the R.C.C.A. until the summer time of 2007.

Many college members were very disappointed by this proclamation and a month later, by majority, reopened the RCCA. Prelature Pope Jake XII, though with great love of the True Faith, turned down a second run and resigned. This resulted in an immediate election. The College of Cardinals elected Cardinal Servant of God of the Vatican City. However, inactivity and corrupt officials led to several scandals during his term. He was oftened noted for saying "I feel my election was similar to that of Pope John Paul I, I didnt want to be Pope" or "Now, I know how the former American President Grant felt when his administration was infamous for corruption."

The first scandal errupted when Prelature Pope Servant of God pardoned Jesuit Priest and made him Director of Missionary Affairs. However, Jesuit Priest had other intentions in mind. He asked the College, by voting, to allow him to send a Ambassador to the Vatican Provinces, instead he sent a spy. The "leak" broke out when apparently someone read something on the RCCA forum. This resulted in an outcry by Vatican Provinces and the name of the spy. Unfortunately, several factors blocked their efforts. Prelature Pope Servant of God was somewhat "obtuse" upon knowing that their was a spy, since Jesuit Priest kept his recordings all a secret, thus the name of the spy is not known even to this day. Another problem that led the RCCA down was Servant of God calling on "major reforms, to justify our past actions and mistakes.." This "reform" resulted in the Prelature Pope title being replaced with Emperor, the College of Cardinals being replaced with a Senate, and the RCCA being named as Christendom. However, all the former pretend clergymen angry and upset resigned and officially ended the RCCA, and Servant of God closed the RCCA down and resigned as Prelature Pope. Thus the RCCA was finished.

Intermediate Period between the RCCA and ARCC

During the time in which their was no organization for Catholic regions; St Margaret Mary, Republic of Moldova, the Vatican City, and Cologne kept close ties together. When Rolamec called on a new organization, he also called on a different step. Rather than having an organization only with a Church, why not have one that would also help out regions, by installing a national government.

The regions: St Margaret Mary, the Vatican City, Cologne, and Republic of Moldova joined and formed what became known as ARCC (Alliance of the Roman Catholic Church). The idea ARCC came from Sister One More Night of St Margaret Mary who thought it nice to have it remind you of a Biblical story: Noah's Ark. However, the newly former alliance did not have any official leadership for some time, until Rolamec called on the Vatican Provinces and its leader to head ARCC as its leader. Most favored Jeremias I who was a fresh face to Roman Catholicism and hoped that it would be different from the RCCA.

Part I; Alliance of the Roman Catholic Church

Jeremias I became the first Prelature Pope of ARCC, but to the original five (St Margaret Mary, Republic of Moldova, the Vatican City, Cologne and Kingdom of Jerusalem) he was seen as the fourth one instead. He led successfully, as many joined during this time. However, inactivity caused few voices from the College and a major scandal caused many to quit.

The scandal began when Amarathine Asphodel of Catholic joined the ARCC forum and claimed ARCC and its beliefs to be heresy. He claimed that it violated Church laws and it literally divided the organization in half. Prelature Pope Jeremias I was criticitized greatly for not standing up to it and on the other hand many saw him as wise in stay neutral until he personally saw what was valid to him. Because of this "lack of faith" as some called it, an impeachment vote was proposed but failed by a land slide.

A second scandal erupted when St Margaret Mary rebels or seperatists formed Vatican II. This resulted in several regions calling for it to be recognized and several having it not be recognized. When Prelature Pope Jeremias I recognized its independence, St Margaret Mary and the Vatican City left. The next day, Ireland and Cologne announced it would be leaving. And literally, a Civil War erupted. Cardinal Ave Maria was elected Prelature Pope, however, he resigned.

Only recently the Vatican City and St Margaret Mary rejoined. However, Ireland is having a difficult time and Cologne is not sure. Still, many have lost faith in ARCC and many are still in favor of it. There is still debate on whether its wise to have a Prelature Pope and at the same time follow the Pope; and others see it as just a game.

The ARCC recently changed it's name and open a new forum. It is hoped this change will bring a new era of co-operation between the member states and the wider community
