Overview & Notes
Born in the Bronkstone neighborhood of Kafra, Zenith is a homegrown talent for the squad and never strayed too far from home. He claims to have been outside of Kafra only 6 times before the Premier League’s inaugural season. Born to a carpenter, Zenith was taught at a young age to work hard and never take no for answer, which is where he gets his undying determination and will from.
Signed by Bronkstone for the Nedalia Premier League inaugural season, it quickly became obvious that he was the best defender in the country, and Lions’ manager Randy Gamman wasted no time in naming him his captain for the senior squad. He was one of the top defenders for the Lions’ Baptism of Fire campaign, leading the team with dignity and pride, before the team faltered in its qualifying bid for World Cup 23.
Nevertheless, the next World Cup campaign was far more successful, with the Lions missing out on the qualifying by just 3 points, with Zenith again leading them as captain. Their Cup of Harmony bid, however, was successful, as they lifted the trophy.
His final season would be in Year Four, and even though he was still one of the best defenders in the Premier League, he decided it was time for his to call it quits. His final international tournaments were the World Cup 26 and Cup of Harmony 17 campaigns. The Lions failed to qualify to the World Cup and lost out to Cuation in the Quarter-Finals of the Cup of Harmony tournament, signalling the end of the career for Nedalia's first ever captain.
