Currently renowned for its punitive income tax rates. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 1.268 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

Public Spending
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as the Environment and Defence receiving almost no funds by comparison. Military funding has been constantly stripped back.
Budget Revenue
The average income tax rate is 74%, and even higher for the wealthy while citizens select which government department gets their income tax Dollars each year.

A healthy private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.
Trivia
Citizens are regularly found digging for treasure in their gardens, and pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government. Crime is totally unknown. Canada6's national animal is the beaver, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Dollar.
