Lebanon is the captial and largest city of willink, home to over 12 million people within the city itself, and with some 32 million in the metro area, is the largest conglomerate of population in The Consortium of Shadows. It is the 2nd most important city in Willink territory, surpassed only by Terra City, and followed by [[Port Arthur]. The city has nearly 3,000 high rise buildings, the most in Willink and the Consortium.

New beginnings

Following the Saharistan War, during which the Captial was leveled, the 3rd largest city at that time, Lebanon, was chosen as the new captial. It went into a large construction phase in the following 20 years, before reaching a massive Economic boom following the death of the Nation Green sun and the founding of terra city. It is home to the Willink Parliment, the house of Delegates, and the Presidential manor.

Districts

The largest and central district of Lebanon is the Freebased-Economic zone, full of Embassies and mid-sized office towers. The District is home to the Parliment, City hall, multiple memorials, and several large shopping plazas. The Area is full of 9 to 5 workers, heading to their offices in the many commercial buildings in the city.

The 2nd largest district is the Orkian island area, which features the Presidentail manor, the brand new American Football stadium, Apartments, coffee shops, and many small buisnesses. It hosts its own festival every year for its residences, which features floats, displays, and a massive open air market in the Capital park.

A large Residential district encircles the Economic zone, full of tall high rise apartments and markets. It is the launch point for the Lebanon mono-rail system, which travels 6km around the city. It has grown rapidly in the past 5 years, blowing up into near out-of-porportion size.

Lebanon International Airport

The Lebanon Int airport is the largest in Willink, and the third largest in The Consortium of Shadows. It features 3 Airfield's, some 175 hangars for large Air transports and airliners, and a parking area that can hold some 16,000 cars. It has long been a pride symbol of Lebanon, as the largest and most up-to-date airport in Willink, but this is being threatend by new construction in terra city. Some 26 nations fly Air routes to the airport, including all of Willink's allies. The Airport was expanded in a recent project to allow more air traffic, as it was becomming congested with air traffic. It lays 2 miles east of Orkian island area, and is easily accessable day and night by the massive Road-like highway system that runs throught the majority of the city.

The RMC is the largest Coference/Convention center in willink, boasting 2 "Ballrooms", each able to house 18,000, along with a dizzying array of smaller rooms, office areas, rentable show-areas, hallways, and planning halls. It was built with funds donated by Willink's neighbors, Risban and Green Sun, and is named in memory of the Late President, Ian Rousell.

Transportation System

The Transportation System of Lebanon is one of the largest in the world, consisting of a combine Highway-Mono-rail/subway/Ferry system which allows for quick and easy access to nearly every corner of the city. Throught the several districts are a series of large bus terminals, which can trasport a tourist or citizen to nearly everything in the city, and it's suburbs. The Subway system has recently been redesigned, and is not recieveing the most traffic in its history. The ferry system travels down the Arkell river, which heads through the city to the south.

Nightlife

By night Lebanon is a party Capital, with an abundant amount of clubs and bars, all of which cater to any adult. corp015.jpg
