"We are All Sapients" Day, is a major and popular public holiday, every 12 december in several nations, including Arizona Nova, Biotopia, and Love and esterel.

It celebrate the vote, on 12 December, by Arizona Nova's Commonwealth Congress of the the Sentient Civil Rights Act, on 12 december 1991 (Arizonan Common Era Year of 472), followed, 10 years later, the exact same day by the vote of the same act recalled “Sapients Bill of rights” by the congress of several nations, including Biotopia and love and esterel.

Back in 1991, in Arizona Nova, the Sentient Civil Rights Act was born amidst a cauldron of international contention: witnessing the growth of power in the resurgent Facehuggerian Empire, and the attitudes and actions of a score of other nations in regards to civil rights violations of sentient creatures.

A similar movement and huge peaceful demonstrations took place in 2001 in Zhaire, the capital of Biotopia and Anjuna (the second largest city in Love and esterel) in order to grant similar rights to every sapients being species (Humans, ET intelligences, Posthumans and AI).

"We are All Sapients" Day is celebrated every year in many cities and in particular on Plaza of white Pines (Zhaire), Sapients Plaza (Yashibu District) and Arizona Prime, and is a stunning peaceful gathering of hundreds species from all over the world. Among the most active species behind the peaceful movement which took places and behind the celebrations is the indigenous species from Biotopia: Pagnaan Sapiens ans the Stotos.

On the Saturday 20 December 2005, another huge demonstration took place in these 3 nations, in order to support the Rights of Biological Sapients UN proposal, presented by the nation of Reformentia. Even if some demonstrators were not fully satisfied with the wording of the text (for its vagueness about sapient criteria and AI left aside), the proposal was an essential first step for them. This time the outcome was less successful for the demonstrators, but most felt a general feeling to have contributed to the advancement of this cause.
