ECE has never claimed to be a very powerful nation on both ground and air, but claims to own one of the strongest (if not THE strongest) navy of the Region.
Personnalities at the head of the Confederal army
General Miss Claire Sandeau - She is chief of ECE Interarmy HQ since its creation. Well known for being cruel and sexually disturbed, no one ever managed anyway to hurt her widely recognized excellence as an army commander. She is narcoleptic.
The Confederal navy is divided in 11 fleet :
Float I (medium attack float) - Carrier C.S. Charlemagne with 5 cruisers, 5 counter-torpedoes, 6 anti-air ships, 10 corvettes, 5 special-skilled ships (medical, tools, radar), 3 attack submarines
Float II (heavy attack float) - Carrier C.S. Jacques-Delors with 7 cruisers, 1 armoured heavy ship (C.S. Robert-Schumann), 6 counter-torpedoes, 7 anti-air ships, 12 corvettes, 5 special-skilled, 5 attack submarines
Float III (naval defense float) - Armoured heavy ship C.S. Jean-Monnet with 4 cruisers, 2 counter-torpedoes, 5 anti-air, 5 corvettes, 2 special-skilled

Float V "Furtive & nuclear dissuassive task force" - C.S. Andries-Pretorius and C.S. Paul-Kruger furtive & nuclear launchers submarines (two furtive weapons, efficient by themselves even with conventionnal missiles, and not escorted because their escorts will not be as furtive as them - these two submarines are impossible to detect if they are not surfaced or taking communications).

Furtive & Nuclear launcher submarines : ECE's nuclear task force
ECE has inherited from the member state Transvaal an obsolete and almost dangerous nuclear arsenal made with 9 ogives and 2 nuclear launcher submarines.
There are no facilities able to build further ogives, although Transvaal is still full of Uranium. The repairing facilities of the submarines could be used to build other subs.
C.S Andries-Pretorius is the biggest of the two subs. She has been revised with SoG technology in early 2003. C.S. Paul-Kruger has been improved by ECE technologies and both weapons are fully able to work.
ECE uses sometimes the furtive capacities of these two weapons to threatens unfriendly nations who will never know wether their cities are in range of the Andries-Pretorius or not.
Intelligence Services, especially the MDK
ECE considers intelligence as something very important and has created a large & powerful system of Intelligence Services in which the main agency, the MDK, plays the most important role.
Intelligence services in ECE
Mekanik Destrüktiw Kommandoh - MDK : the famous intelligence agency is controlled by the following structure
Praetorii : An army corpse under parliamental control & presidential commandment which also includes security services & other.
Direction Générale de la Documentation - DGD : civilian intelligence structure controlled by the ministry of Internal Affairs under the same parliamental control than Praetorii, and taking mainly care about domestic intelligence.
MDK
The MDK (Mekhanik Destrüktiw Kommandoh) is the biggest intelligence service of ECE and a very powerful organization in Europe.
MDK has its base in Kobaïa, a secret place situated somewhere in Transvaal state. Their leader is the obscure & mysterious Christian Vander.
MDK agents are NEVER alone but ALWAYS three persons together. Never one more, never one less. The three MDK agents operates together, one being covered by the two others. Basically, the "acting" agent of the trio is the one who is in relation with the officer. The others are under its dependence. If a member of the trio is captured or KIA, the two others will welcome a new agent and act again as a trio.
MDK agents speaks a strange language called "kobaïan", in order not to be understood by other people in action.
The most important success of the MDK happenned when Europe was divided in a Cold War between democratic alliance EDF and communist alliance ComIntern : the MDK was able to introduce spies in the ComIntern (a fake-nation called "USS Amerindians") and had access to all the private debates of the CI in their private forum, and acted as influence agents sometimes. The spies were eventually captured after a betrayal from "friendly" intelligence services of the neutral alliance UAP.

Seafaring Politic
History
In the beginning of 2004 the government changed and Mr Rochefort was appointed Chancellor. He announced that ECE will now use its seafaring potential. The Chancellor is directly in charge of this politic.
Hydrocarbures
As a seafaring nation with an important maritime traffic, ECE has become one of the most important hydrocarbures producer.
Provençale d'Hydrocarbures : PH is an enormous company of both petroleum and gas, taken from ECE's network of sea platforms and tankers. PH has absorbed all the other ECE companies and now belongs to state.

The fishing zones at 2 000 miles around these stations are revendicated by ECE
-2 000 sea platforms for hydrocarbures exploitation all around the europeans seas.
