Founded on 3 April 2006, the Alliance of Abh Nations (also known as the Abh Alliance) is a defense alliance formed between Abh nations and space-faring nations that shares the Abh ideology. The treaty arose to counter the increasing raider threat to members' regions, and ensures full defense, technological and political cooperation among its members in peace and time of need.
Mission Statement
This pact was drafted by its founding members and ratified by each of its signatory nations, of whose leaders have dedicated themselves and their Star Fields Navy to establishing a mutual defense alliance in the spirit of Abh unity.

"For the glory of the Abh Empire; we, the signatories of this pact dedicate ourselves to the establishment and preservation of this treaty uniting all Abh nations. Should any member nation come under implied/or direct threat of any kind, full military force will be mobilized in defense of such nation. This defense cooperation extends to cover each member regions' sovereignity and political stability should they become the target of aggression. We, the signatories further agrees to share all military intelligence and cooperate in the deployment of the Laburec for the general preservation of peace in our territories and the safe passage of our forces in normal space or planar space travel. Member nations will allow each other free access to their star system and free use of their gates for any purpose. We are Abh, --Kin of the Stars!" |

Alliance Details
What this treaty covers:
1. Member nations will share intelligence, and inform each other should they learn-of a threat against any member.
2. Should one member's region come under threat of invasion, he must inform others by way of Telegram, Email or RMB. Upon receiving such notice, others will immediately join said region with UN membership, and act according to the wishes of the distressed member. (If assisting nations does not have UN membership at that time, they will apply to join as soon as possible.)
3. In the event that the region is already overtaken by hostile forces, the same process applies. Member natons will act according to the wishes of the distressed member.
4. Member nations will only rejoin their native regions when a threat is no longer present.
5. In addition to external defense, this treaty extends to cover mobilization for purpose of stabalizing member's region. Either to thwart a hostile political takeover or any action that directly threatens the distressed member's nation. This treaty however, DOES NOT extend to assist members in taking over the region for themselves.
6. Free Travel Act
Member nations will grant access to each others' region for defense, communication or visiting purposes. Passwords will be shared among signatory members if the distressed region is passworded.
7. Mutual Non-Aggression Act
Member nations agree not to participate in any action that will endanger, directly or indirectly, the welfare of each other. Member nations agree not to interfere with each other's decision in their own regional matters.
STANDARD OF THE ALLIANCE: The crest in the middle establishes Abh identity with the eight-headed Dragon Gaftonoshu. Set within braided rim and colored in gold, the crest highlights approval of the Jade Throne and member nations' close relationship with the capital. The triangle link behind represents all members joined in solidarity. Three diamonds on top showcases the political, military and scientic nature of the pact. Finally, the background is set in a "field of stars" to show Abh's love for their kin. (also a veiled reference to the Star Fields Navy)

New Member Admissions
Acceptance of new pact members will be done on a sponsorship only basis, nations who wish to become signatory nations must contact an existing member. Potential members need not be Abh nations or have majority Abh in their population. However, they must share the Abh ideology of Free Travel and Passage among stars, non-interference in lander planets' daily affairs, and abhorrance of raider/pirate activities that distrupt peace.
