Background

The Humankind Empire of Silentvoice was initially founded as a satellite colony in the Imperial year 962. Eight years after the gallactic battle between The Humankind Empire Abh and The Four Nations Alliance (consisting of The United Mankind, the Republic of Greater Alcont, Sovereign People's Union of Planets and the Federation of Harnia) After peace was restored, the Empire launched 'Operation Bregh' to establish colonies in several regions. The boundaries of the Empire expanded exponentially. To safeguard space-time travel, there was a need to establish a commanding post in the Demetre System, near the Aputikku gate where the Battle of Renibu was fought.

The Colony of Silentvoice was thus established to oversee gate access and serve as a depot for the Laburec around the system (including Winburu and Menstrel). It was perhaps due to the famed battle, and the abundant minerals found in nearby planets that Abhs as well as Landers began converging quickly in the colony. Its size became so large that population reached 200 million in 5 years. Additionally, Admiral Spaurh Aronn Saicspath Nimh Laitpanr Painaich' took a personal interest in its construction, and in year 972, made it her seat away from her native Laitpanh domain. By virtue of her presence, the colony became the dominion of the Spaurh family and base for her 1st fleet, the Laburec (Star Fields Navy) subsequently enlarged its presence to include the 5th and 17th fleet as well. With an expanding population, the region soon became one of the epicentres among Abh territories. As tribute to the Abh race and The Humankind Empire, the colony is popularily known as The Humankind Empire of Silentvoice across all space systems.

note: Spaurh (Clan name), Aronn Saicspath (Family name, one of the original 29), Nimh (Duchess), Laitpanr (Name of her family dominion), Painaich (Peneju, her given name). Head of the clan that is only second to the Ablïarsec Imperial Clan either in wealth or power, she was Roïfraudéc of the Reconaissance Fleet Ftunéc at the battle of Sfagnaumh gateway, and gained a great victory aganist the Human Union forces. There she earned the nick name "Lady of Chaos". And was later promoted to the of the rank Fraudéc of the First Fleet.

Population

The population of Silentvoice consist of Abhs (59%) and Landers (35%)and others'. The Abhs are a genetically modified species who most often has blue hair, an extra sensory organ on their forehead, with a lifespan of 200-250 years.

What makes an Abh?

The Abhs are a beautiful species, sometimes referred to as the "Art of Genetic Modification". They are very proud of this and seeks to achieve the perfection and genetic manipulation for space-travel. All Abhs call themselves "Kin of The Stars" (carsarh gereulacr) and live most of their lives in Space, either in gigantic space stations or ships. They seem both have a distain and fear of the ground world and have a policy of non-interference even in star systems under their control. All they ask is the ability to travel through space freely and unobstructed.

Abhs appear very young (20s-30s) and are able to live between 200-300 years. Although they do age, their appearance do not change. They call the period before 15 "growth" (zarhoth) and the next 25 years "maturation" (féroth). There are other physical difference that distinguish them from humans, the first is all Abhs have blue hair. This does not serve any particular purpose other than satisfy their love of the heavens. The second difference is the extra-sensory organ (froch) on the forehead. This organ is directly connected to the voyage field (rilbidoc) in the Abh brain. The space sensory organ looks like a diamond-shaped pearl and is a bundle of more than 100 million "eyes" that allow one to sense his 3-dimensional environment. An Abh would sometimes cover this organ with a tiara. If this tiara is connected to the sensor systems of the ship, he/she can can process millions information at any instant and can manipulate a ship as easily as an adult would walk.

Most Abhs are born Abhs, either naturally conceived or through genetic selection. There is an exception to this rule, however, for on occasions a grounder may also become a legal Abh (e.g. through enlistment or promotion in the space navy). He or she will remain Homo Sapiens but any children born thereafter must become an Abh biologically through genetic modification. Abh landers receive full rights and responsibilities as any other Abhs and are required to serve the Empire (in any capacity) for atleast 7 years.
