Atlantic Alliance

The Atlantic Alliance was the greatest of Nationstates's ancient empires. Although many might argue against this, there was no multi-regional alliance that compared to the impact that organization has had on world history. The Atlantic Alliance tried and failed to challenge the Alliance Defense Network, the MASS Alliance and the Freedom Alliance in a war, and during this war the organisation was forcefully disbanded by one leader, MrNonchalant.

Atlantic Alliance History

The Atlantic Alliance (known as the Atlantic Central Command during it's top-days) was launched after a succesfull run for delegacy by Nusseburg and Dosopan when NationStates was still pretty young. For the coming months, the ACC would invade many regions. At it's height, the ACC was in control of a feeder region (the West Pacific) and was combating control for more feeder regions (the South Pacific for example.) Invading was much easier back then thanks to the incapability for a founder or delegate to kick nations from a region.

The ACC/AA is probably the most well-known invader organisation of NationStates and is considered by many to have had the biggest impact on history. The battle for Iraq is seen as the turning point in the history of the ACC, which went downhill after this. Attempts to revive it by Louldamin, Pilmour, MrNonchalant and Accelsior were unsuccesful. The ACC/AA was disbanded, although former members of the ACC/AA are spread over the NationStates world, most notably in The West Pacific, The Pacific, The Meritocracy, and the Alliance Defense Network.
