The Democracia Progressiva De Baharrian (Progressive Baharrian Democracy) is an economically powerful capitalist nation, ruled by a nationally elected President.
Politics
The PBD deviates from classical Capitalism, the basic structure of the Baharrian Government goes just as through many checks and balances. Starting first with the nationally elected President, then to the Vice-President, and then through the many different ministers of the Senato whom actually conduct the enforcement of the laws laid out by the President and Vice-President. The other branches of the government are the Congrès Grand (or commonly known as the Grand Congress), and the Gerichtsc Abteilung (or the Judicial Department)
Regarding external politics, the PBD is currently seeking to join the FMS (Free Market States), but it is currently appart of the CWN (Conferance of Western Nations), LCN (League of Capitalist Nations), and the EU (European Union). Its closest allies are Qantrix, Gunnlandia, Kheion, Daracnia, Azores, Wazistan and Spanish Kingdom. The PBD also maintains cordial relations with other nations such as Eiffelland, Erlangen-Ansbach, Einland, MrNutty-Radilo, Russia-Borisgad, Saelsun Islands, Sortain and Hathoria.
Economy
The PBD is based on a free-market, capitalist economy where the State assumes the role of a Police State, i.e., only intervenes indirectly, creating laws without which the market wouldn't be able to function correctly. The PBD houses the largest shipbuilding company in Europe, its refered to as PiW (or Portland Iron Works).
Despite being based on an almost totally free market, there is one distinction between the Baharrian economy and other libertarian ones such as the Qantrixian, Azorean or Gunnlandian ones. Due to its choatic history, the PBD still holds a giant and efficient public education system, whose main function is to educate the Baharrian populas in order to assure a better and prosper future. Baharrian Universities can easily be comparied with an Azorean University, the main university and pride of Baharr is the University of Selyoc the First or commonly refered to as the UofSF, its main attraction is that they have a spectaular mixure of Sports and Intellegance. The education system mainly focus in on the fields of Economics, International Politics and Military Strategy.
Program for National Rememberance
The Program for National Rememberance began in late 2004. The program is to help our younger generations learn about our horrible past, and to also educate the international community about treating your citzens like wild animals.

History
Not much is known about Baharrs past before the Oiligrachy but one thing is for sure that it was a very nationalistic past. The Oiligrachy was a small group of powerful families that somehow was able to keep control of Baharr for about 250 years. During the winter of 2004 a new rebellion was sparked off by a man by the name of Scott Selyoc.
Military
The Baharrian Military is divided into just 2 corps, the PLF (Progressive Land Force) and the PBN (Progressive Baharrian Navy). The national government focuses alot of its resources on the PBN but it trys to keep the PLF close so if you were to look at it in percents the PBN gets 59% of the militaries budget and that leaves the PLF with only 41%.
