History
Full history of British Londinium
Pre-Imperial Period
The first humans came to British Londinium in 11,000 BCE, during the last Ice Age, crossing over the frozen English Channel, following the trail of a pack of woolly mammoths. These people, refered to as Picts, thrived in British Londinium - the abdundant natural resources, and quick discovery of agriculture led to the rapid creation of permanent settlements. The Picts first encountered the domo-kun in 9000 BCE, and quickly domesticated it, turning them into pets, beasts of burden, and shock-troops. The Picts continued to live in this manner until 23 CE.
The Albionian Empire
In 23 CE, scouts from the Albionian Empire discovered the British Isles, as well as British Londinium. Soon after, Albion sent a small detachment of troops to invade the region, but Pict domo-kun warriors slaughtered them all. Albion recalculated their strategy, and sent in thirty thousand troops, all riding giant, rabid cats. The domo-kuns were forced to the mountains to hide. Albion was not kind to the Picts; their men executed arbitrarily, their children tortured, and their women exported to Albion as sexual slaves.
The Great Revolt
In 167 BCE, a group of freedom fighters rediscovered the lost domo-kun soldiers, and used them to create a massive rebellion against the Albionian overlords.
Government and Politics of British Londinium
Constitution
The current constitution of the Commonwealth was drafted in 2005, by Prime Minister al-Malik and Queen Hemali I, to create a nation in which political and civil freedoms blossom, the economy thrives, and the government is transparent. In May 2006, the constitution was submitted to the provinces, and they ratified it unanimously.
National Government
The national government is composed of Parliament, the Monarch, and the courts.

The current monarch is Hemali the First, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of British Londinium and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, Admiral of the Fleets, Field Marshal of the Army, Marshal of the Royal Air Force.
Courts
The D'Oyly Court is the highest court in British Londinium. Its primary purpose is judicial review. The D'Oyly Court reviews all legislation passed by parliament, and it can either inform Parliament of a judicial concern, abrogate the law entirely due to unconstitutionality, or pass it on the Sovereign with approval. D'Oyly Court also is the supreme authority regarding interpretations of Common Law, Civil Law, Acts of Parliament, and the Constitution.
Parliament
Parliament is headquartered in Kensington, not too far from Kensington Palace and the Royal Gardens at Kensington. There are 646 seats in Parliament, and each member is refered to as a Member of Parliament (MP). Each of the 16 provinces recieves 40 seats. Each province's MPs are determined by a proportial representation.
Parliament is headed by the Prime Minister, who rules by mandate from the Monarch and by a vote of confidence from Parliament. The Prime Minister is considered to be the head of government.
