When King Nicholas Romanov III took the throne, a nationalist movement occured in the western and northern regions of Derscon, which was renamed The Andropov's were practicing Sorcerers, and the Inquisitors consistant persecution of the Andropov famlily drove the Andropovs and their supporters to the edge. The Declared themselves the soverign nation of Scodson after tensions built to the maximum. King Nicholas Romanov III declared war on Scodson and fought for over five years with the proclaimed Czar Ivan Andropov IV. During the Civil war, Protestant rebels to the East, lead by a very liberal Mikhial Rekjyavch, fought with the Romanovs alongside the Andropovs against the Romanovs. Eventually, they Romanovs were deposed, and Nicholas III was excecuted, along with his immediate family. They were exiled to the former republic of Scodson, now reunited with Derscon.

The blacklist is the list of those nations that, upon mention, bring a nasty taste into the mouth of a Dersconi. These are nations that most Dersconis wouldn't even blink if they suddenly went away. Dersconi people, government or private, are completely forbidden from associating with them for any reason.

Prince Ivan Andropov, the heir to the throne, was placed in charge of the Army. Dislike for magic was growing inside the ranks of the Army, the government, and the people, who were mostly Protestant or Catholic. Eventually, Prince Ivan Andropov, now Crown Prince, led a military coup on the government. The Kingdom of Derscon was placed under Marshall Law, and the Andropovs were cast out of Derscon permanently. Most went to the former republic of Scodson, while some went to the Northern Arctic Deserts of Derscon. Crown Prince Ivan Andropov was wildly supported by the Dersconi people. He then inherited the throne, renaming himself Czar Rekjyavich Ivan Andropov II. He only kept the Andropov because he liked the sound of the long name.

  • Derscon Joins the Anti-Furry Alliance With a "militant moralization" movement within Dersconi society, recently shown by Tsar Xavier II's re-enactment of the Purity Codes, it was only natural that Derscon place its name on a document preaching the elimination of the plague of "furry-ism."
  • Derscon Joins the Hermes Alliance; Bryn Shander and New Haven removed from the Blacklist. Due to a recent change of heart in Dersconi Foreign Policy, and domestic ideas, Derscon has put aside past grievances with New Haven and Bryn Shander and removed them from the blacklist, upon joining the Hermes Alliance.
  • The Nations of Gens Romae and Atheistz are added to the "General Animosity" list. With the recent action taken by Gens Romae to order the assassination of notable Cherry Ridgian figures, Cherry Ridge being a state of Greater Prussia, a de facto state of war exists between Gens Romae and the Greater Prussian Empire as a whole, including Derscon. Atheistz has been added to the GA list for being in a de facto state of war with Greater Prussia, for supporting Gens Romae against Cherry Ridge, and for sending military vessels into Greater Prussian Waters.
  • The Quadrafectum of the Welschmerz Terran Federation declared defunct. Due to the sudden disappearance of New Czardas, and the loss of contact with The Cassatopian Galaxy, the Quadrifectum has been declared defunct, and disbanded.
  • Derscon becomes a member of the New Alliance Treaty Organization. Recommended by high officials within Allanea, Tsar Xavier II applied for membership in the alliance. High officials within Automagfreek expressed a welcoming opinion, pushing the NATO members to accept Derscon as a member. The Divine Prussian Empire looks forward to working closely with its new allies.
  • Derscon becomes member of the Extra Solar Union of Systems. Due to its close ties with many members of the alliance, it was only a matter of time until Derscon applied.
  • Northrop-Grumman moved from "GA" to "Blacklist," due to the continuing strained relations with Derscon and the former Prussian nation. It is unlikely that this will change within the reign of Tsar Xavier.

Friendly Nations/Organizations

The following are those nations/organizations with a friendly relationship with the Empire.

The Greater Prussian Empire

The nations of The Greater Prussian Empire recieve the closest benefits of the Dersconi Empire. All Prussian nations, along with the mandatory Free Trade and mutual defence pacts, recieve Most Favoured Nation status. Also, all citizen travel restrictions are suspended, save the need for a passport. All Prussian leaders have their own private suites in the Grand Kremlin Palace, and most Prussian leaders own estates in Derscon somewhere.

The Hermes Alliance

The Hermes Alliance is an alliance created by New Haven and Bryn Shander in the wake of the split with the Concordat, which was founded for the same purpose but was corrupted by Midlonia. The Hermes Alliance is primarily focused on transportation and trade, with the Project Hermes Hyperspace Gate Network being the primary means to that end. However, the security of the network and its technology is paramount, so the mutual defense of all member nations is a required tenant of the alliance as is a blacklist of nations that are a threat to the stability and security of the alliance, its members, and the network. The Hermes Alliance is also fully democratic, with all member entries and decisions being decided on with a vote between the member nations.

Derscon is a recent addition to the New Alliance Treaty Organization, allied with prominent members such as Sigma Octavius, Automagfreek, and Scandavian States.

IOI

The IOI is a relatively secret organization helped founded by Derscon.

The Extra-Solar Union of Systems, a long-established intergalactic alliance, has had close friendships with the Divine Prussian Empire since its entry into space. It was only a matter of time until Derscon became a full-fledged member.

Anti-Furry Alliance

The Anti-Furry Alliance was officially founded by the nation of Bryn Shander, but jointly established by Bryn Shander, Questers, New Haven, and Derscon. It's purpose is to expunge the galaxy of the plague of Furry-ism.

The majority of the nations of the universe fall here. Most nations Derscon has never interacted with, therefore doesn't care one way or another about them. However, some do grab the attention of the Empire, and usually not in a good way. However, very few nations ever actually do enough stupid things to make it on Derscon's blacklist.

General Animosity

"General Animosity" is a category that expresses distaste for the nation. These nations are not to be dealt with on a governmental level, although private citizens are not forbidden from conducting business with them.

The Blacklist

The blacklist is the list of those nations that, upon mention, bring a nasty taste into the mouth of a Dersconi. These are nations that most Dersconis wouldn't even blink if they suddenly went away. Dersconi people, government or private, are completely forbidden from associating with them for any reason.
