Jean-Paul Georges-Ringeaux (J-P G-R) was Manager of Starblaydia for two World Cups, 15 and 16. His style of 'let's play a good game' was fine for the early years of Starblaydi Football, but after failing to qualify for a second straight World Cup Final, it was a 4-0 defeat on the sixth and final Matchday of the 3rd Eagle's Cup that sealed his fate.
J-P was immediately sacked, and a former International striker of his, Guylain N'Dumbu-Nsungu took control and led Starblaydia onward. That wasn't the end for J-P, however, as the Nova Britannicus Football Association quickly hired him to take over their vacant Manager's position. His style blended perfectly with that of the Britannicans as he led them to the 19th, 20th and 21st World Cup Finals, and their highest ranking in the world to date.
Nova Britannicus failed to qualify for World Cup 22, finishing behind Hiiraan and Total n Utter Insanity. They did, however, make it to the 14th Cup of Harmony on the basis of their World Cup Qualifying performance. "Powers' Army" picked up the first Trophy in Britannican Footballing history, taking the Cup of Harmony and some sporting history back to Nova Britannicus.
In case you haven't noticed, Jean-Paul Georges-Ringeaux is a pun on the names of the four members of The Beatles: John, Paul, George and Ringo. Geddit?
