Landscape
Kamsaki, situated in the centre-west of Methody, is one of the largest and oldest nations in the region. Officially, it shares land borders with Peteronia, Rithgard and Democrap, as well as a southern border with the Whitla Straights. Not particularly varied in its climate, a large portion of Kamsaki is taken up by its central sea; a body of water some hundred miles across, fed by a river flowing from the north-eastern mountains down to the southern entrance to the ocean. The land-mass of the nation is thus roughly the same as that of Arturria, although the Gatsu sea is completely under Kamsaki control. In terms of actual landscape, a lot is covered by vast stretches of evergreen forest known as the C'tarl ring (due to the encirclement of the Gatsu sea), which act as a home to an almost engulfing squirrel population. Its northern and eastern mountain range border with Peteronia, and it's on one expanse that the town of Whitla can be located. Snow is fairly common in the winter months, but Kamsaki's western edge tends to receive more of a temperate weather pattern compared to the almost Scandanavian atmosphere of the rest of the country. The main cities tend to be more at the edges of the ring, although there are a number of small towns formed within the forests themselves. Its capital, Rakoji City, is in the North-west, about fifty miles from the nearest Democrap border, while its port town of Ameille lies to the south, and the centre of its IT industry, Izlude, in the south-east. Most of its agriculture comes from satellite settlements near to the three main cities or from the C'tarl area, but small businesses thrive in the small towns dotted throughout the nation.
