The Consul will be in charge of the Consulate, containing all the executive departments/ministries regarding domestic policies/actions.  He/she shall appoint the heads of the departments, with any Legalese citizen eligible.  If an eligible senator is chosen (i.e. a senator not serving on a regional council), no approval is necessary from the Senate.  If a non-senator is chosen, the Senate must approve the appointment, and may appoint a Senator to handle oversight of the position.  A Senator handling oversight of the department has no duties within the department, but a responsibility to report the department's actions to the Senate.

Legalese is a moderate-sized nation in Atlantian Oceania. It was founded by a litigous society, which centers around the Legal system, the Legalese Code.

Geography

Legalese is bordered by Starblaydia on the north, The Lowland Clans to the south/southwest; on the west/northwest by Lake Bekk, and on the east by the Nemyan Strait.

Location: North-Eastern Atlantian Oceania, Margilantis Continent, bordering the Bekk Lake, Nemyan Strait, and Starblaydia.

  • Direct Election by the Region Populace to a 3 year term (applies to at least half of each region's senators)
  • Regional Council selects, from among its Councilors, a certian number of Senators. The Regional Council's head also becomes a Senator by default. Terms will last until the member loses their council seat, or the council removes them from the Senate.
