General Information

The Incorporated States of Mexico and New Jersey is a very large, economically powerful nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 98 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The small, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 1%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Arms Manufacturing, and Beef-Based Agriculture industries.

People have to sneak out of the country in order to have sex, senior citizens can usually be found doing heavy manual labour, armed police units patrol the roads late at night, and murderers frequently escape punishment by claiming they were protecting their honour. Crime is a major problem. Mexico and New Jersey's national animal is the baja panda, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the New Peso-Dollar.
