(from its World Factbook entry):

Diamond Bar is a sunny, glorious Land.
Yea, whereupon the Sun doth shine, and wherein the Gobble Terky doth frolic. Whereto the Forgotten doth seek Refuge, and wherein the Korean doth propogate his sinister Brood.
Yea, verily, the Gods have smiled upon this sunny Land, sprinkled with Glory and overrun with Koreans. The Great Spaghetti Monster Spirit doth endow fair Diamond Bar with her exquisite Beauty.
Forsooth! Oh Ye Diamond Bar, let ye be as a Beacon to a Lost Ships, let ye be as a 24-Hour Ihop to Drunken Teenagers, let ye be as a Free Tuberculosis Vaccine Outreach to a Herd of Koreans.

Overview

Diamond Bar is a region home to 10 nations. It is well-known for its famous Korean Incident, and its problem with Koreans.

History

Diamond Bar was started by the [then] Dominion of Krebylflivyx (now Republic). It was founded because several nations had become overrun in their former home of Zullou (Region) by nations with vastly different political agendas. Thus, the nations of Krebylflivyx, Citrus_x, Makadoo, Our Lady of Apathy, Mexico and New Jersey and Later Day Saints moved to this newly created, swiftly password-protected region.

Since then, several new nations have joined, including (most recently) Pacifc Guard.

The Problem with Koreans

(please note, in this section, "Koreans" refers to a specific group, and may not necessarily apply to all Koreans)

From founding this region, people from all its nations noticed something very odd about it. Groups of wild people called "Koreans" began to show up in remote areas of Diamond Bar. Trying at first to live symbiotically with these creatures, leaders of Krebylflivyx, Mexico and New Jersey sent envoys of emissaries. Only three returned alive out of the original 57 sent. Most were never seen from again, but around 20 were sent back in various pieces, all mauled to death by teeth. The bitemarks seemed very indicative of Korean dentistry, and indeed the Koreans admitted to eating these emissaries alive. The three that did return all contracted tuberculosis, and two died the very next week. The remaining one complained of night terrors from all the atrocities he had seen, and three months after being recovered, shot himself in the mouth.

From then on, the nations of Diamond Bar have been at war with the Koreans, though for many months after this event, no Koreans were reported seen or even smelt. It is known that the Westren Allies usued them in the Second War of Long Knives (see Evil Vertigo)

The Korean Incident

The Korean Incident is a well-known, documented event that made headlines in all member nations of Diamond Bar at the time.

In a remote township of New Jersey, a Korean toddler was found wondering from doorstep to doorstep crying and seemingly begging to be taken in. Apparently, the child had been abandoned, and the New Jersican town gladly shared responsibility for this young one, giving it shelter, food, and love.

One week later, as the town did not report its men for conscription, an envoy of soldiers was sent by the government in New Tenochtitlan. What they discovered there was shocking and horrible. Every single inhabitant of the town had died of tuberculosis, save for one who was crawling towards the envoy, writing in pain. He died minutes after they arrived, but managed to convey the whole story of the boy to the soldiers.

The bodies in the house where the Korean lived were chewed and disfigured beyond recognition, especially the faces and genital areas.

The boy, however, was not to be found. A note was left in Korean, but for years nobody could decipher it as it was widely believed that speaking Korean would cause tuberculosis. Later, when the Nation of Zullou (with its 50% Korean population, who are not to be confused with the Diamond Bar Koreans) arrived, its translators translated the message, it read: "All you devils shall die as these devils here have died. Only more horribly."

Climate

The climate of Diamond Bar is temperate and agreeable.
