The Nation itself consists of the Main Island, a colony on Mars and [[New Birchester]] a colony in the [[Haven]] region. The climates in the GKM as a whole change dramatically, the warm seaside resort of Linton is vastly different to the icy cold Snowdon Mountain resorts. The barren sandy atmosphere of [[Martian Midlonia]] is, incomparable to the lush, thick Jungle conditions of [[New Birchester]].

The people of Midlonia are known to have an obsession with tea, beer and are generally eccentric in their nature, choosing to wear clothing similar to that seen in Britain in the 1950’s and 60’s alongside today’s latest fashions. Many Midlonians insist on having very regular tea breaks, with all but essential services shutting down for 10 minutes every day at 11am and 4pm for a quick cup of tea, before work resumes.
