Nova Latium was a collection of several states that were settled by some Ancient Romans while passing through to Egypt. They settled in the mountains south of present day Riegab and untill several decades ago were mostly isolationist. But one day several decades ago Riegaban troops entered the capital Roma Novus and demanded they open ties, naturaly they listened. over the years they (willingly) opened up ties with more people in the region, their economy began to flurish untill there was unfortunetly a revolt. A terrorist group called the Reformo Amplitudo ,meaning ironically Great Reform, wanted to go back to the old days, so they attacked the government, now since most of the people liked the new way of life, they called for Riegab to step in, and sure enough they crushed he revolt with only a few casulties, but as a result the government voted to be annexed by Riegab as a semi-autonomous state under the control of Riegab.
