Nuno Volaré made his name as a forward-thinking Starblaydi Attacking Midfielder who performed consistently well throughout his career as part of a talented Montepool Waves side. He went to three World Cups and, at his peak, scored eight goals in the World Cup 33 campaign - second only to striker Kaza Matranga.
Though he was a solid performer in his position, he played at a time when Starblaydi football in general was in decline and as such his sixteen career goals (enough to take him equal-nineteenth in the All-time scoring list at the time) are not valued as much as his predecessors. For the sixteen goals in his international career, Nuno was inducted into the Rapaii 15 club.
