The Republic of Pfinland is a tiny, socially progressive nation, notable for its burgeoning reindeer population. It has a quiet, industrious population who enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.
The medium-sized government appears to have no policy direction whatsoever. The average income tax rate is 18%, but much higher for the wealthy. An almost nonexistent private sector is dominated by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry.
Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Pfinland's national animal is the Reindeer and its currency is the Euro.
