The Anarchist Communes of Segasaturn - Introduction

The Anarchist Communes of Segasaturn are a federation of Communes (Communities) which are unified by the Constitution of the Anarchist Communes.

The People directly rule through the Worker's Councils, Soviets and the Popular Assemblies - which are based on a Anti-Hierarchial, Bottom-up structure. The Communes are Defended and peace is mantained in them by Local Worker's Militias - which are also organized by Anti-Authoritarian Defense commitees.

The Economy of Segasaturn is a Anarchist Economy, which does'nt need money to function - but the cooperation of all communes and mutual aid. This means that things would be distributed, provided, and given on the basis of need and use, not on profit and sale. Things are produced, distributed, given, and provided by anti-authoritarian, directly-democratic Worker's Collectives.

Georgraphic Areas

Segasaturn has three main georgraphic areas - The first of these geographical areas is the Segasaturnian Coastal Plain, which is composed on the entire coastal area of Segasaturn. Then there is the Segasaturnian Alps - a narrow mountainous region that covers about 19-20% of Segasaturnian landmass, and which also contains some of the highest mountains on the face of the earth and the only region to recieve snow because it's at a very high elevation. Then there is the western Saturnian lowlands - which is seperated from other countries thanks to the very wide Saturnia River and it's triburary, the Shino River.

Religion?

There is no primary religion in Segasaturn as 98% of the Population are Atheistic or Agnostic. However - there is a small popluation of Buddhists residing in Southern Segasaturn.

Climate

Segasaturn is unusually Hot for most of the year (March-November) especially in the Segasaturnian Coastal Plain and the Western Saturnian Lowlands. However, thanks it's very high elevation, the Segasaturnian Alps is cold year-round.

People

The Segasaturnian People are made up of mostly Germano-Afro-Japanese Descent, with 20% of the Popluation from other nieghboring countries.

History

Early History

In the 1000's, Germanic tribes came to the land of Segasaturn from the west. They invaded and eventually settled the land that is now the Anarchist Communes of Segasaturn. in the 1300's, the three Germ -anic kingdoms united into one kingdom, the Kingdom of Segasaturnia. It conquered a vast part of the continent and it existed until the industrial Age in the 1800's.

In 1884, A invasion force from Guo Leng invaded the Kingdom and decimated the kingdom's forces - which did not have the modern militarial strength to defeat the foreign occupiers.

In 1891, All of Segasaturn was under the control of Guo Leng and it also was offically made a colony in 1895. They established what is now Saturn City Main Commune as the capital of the colony and incourged immigration from Japan, Germany, Holland and West Africa as Segasaturn opened new opertunities for them.

Colonization and Industrialization

Soon enough, it became a cultural meltpot and it experienced industrialization as parts of Segasaturn that never heard of the telephone, electricity, or telegraph now had them. Small towns and villages suddenly became cities overnight. Soon en -ough - the colony developed a Working Class and a Colonial Bourgeoisie who worked with the colonial representatives from Guo Leng. However, Many Segasaturnians maintained a independent spirit that said that Segasaturn's destiny was that of a Indep -endent Nation.

Independence

In 1925, Many Segasaturnians went onto the streets of Saturn City and New Harlem to demand a larger Voice in the governence of Segasaturn. After heavy protests, The Colonial rulers established a "democratic colonial legislature" - Which had no real power at all.

This led to the rise of the Segasaturnian Independence Movement. Throughout the 1930's and 1940's, it was a mainly underground movement. But in the 1950's, Ronin City (now The People's Commune of New Ronin), became the active center of the independence movement as it emerged from the underground. Now Leading the independence Movement was the Right-Wing Segasaturnian Democratic Party (Segacratic Party) and the colonial Bourgeoisie. They predominately demanded Segasaturnian Independence and in 1964 - the colonial government called for a referendum to see if Segasaturn truly wanted independence.

However, the Referendum was rigged by the Colonial Bourgeoisie and the supporters of Colonial rule to make it seem that Segasaturnians did'nt want independence - when the truth was - they overwhelmingly wanted a independent Segasaturn.

This angered the Segasaturnian working class - who hated colonial rule and saw the colonial bourgeoisie as capitalist tratiors. in the Aftermath of the Referendum, The Movement was effectively taken over by Proletarian Revolutionaries (Anarchists, Socialists, Marxists) and the independence movement shifted from the Right-Wing to the Extremely Left-wing.

This lead to the birth of the November 2nd Movement in March 1968 - dedicated to the liberation of Segasaturn and the Segasaturnian working class from capitalism. Of course - this scared the boots of the colonial leadership and it's supporters, But on November, 2nd, 1968, they declared the independence of Segasaturn. However the colonial troops invaded Segasaturn and crushed the independence movement - eventually leading to the death of three million Segasaturnians in the next 18 months.

It seemed that the only way for Segasaturn to achieve independence was to form a umbrella group that focused on it's liberation by all means.

So in 1970 three men decided form this umbrella group called the SLA - also known to most Segasaturnian Revolutionaries as the Segasaturnian Liberation Front (SLF).

From 1971 to 1976, they successfully ejected Guo Leng from controlling the economical, militarial, and social aspects of Segasaturn. This forced Guo Leng's hand and made it grant Political independence to Segasaturn on October, 6, 1978.

Post-Independence and the Capitalist Era in Segasaturn

After Obtaining independence in 1978, Segasaturn became a Capitalist Country, with the National Segasaturnian Congress and President Kirk Wilson as the leaders of the new nation.

However, The New President became totally abitious and totally imperialistic, wishing for Segasaturn to become a Capitalist World Empire. But in order to do this, he and the NSC began a "Program of Super-Industrialization and Ultra-Imperialization", which quickly made Segasaturn a advanced Capitalist Nation. This benifited everyone and it allowed President Kirk Wilson and the NSC to build-up their Nuclear Weapons program and the Segasaturnian Armed Forces and Navy.

they did not give workers equal pay - only $2.00 a hour in every industry and this included the Aerospace industry. they banned the formation of Unions and they regularly issued drafts to allow Segasaturn to take over other lands.

The First Takeover attempt took place in Cherisovia - although the Cherisovians defeated the SAF and it's Navy. This became known as the "Segasaturnian Incident." This incident forced The Segasaturnian Capitalist Government to re-build their forces in even larger numbers.

In 1985, The Segasaturnian Army invaded the islands of the Republic of Taibei and made it a colony of Segasaturn. In 1986, it took over Cherisovia, Soulrida, Koji Kara, and Okanama City.

They all became colonies (except for Cherisovia - it became "The Puppet State of Cheruko") and the resources that were coming from there made Segasaturn more powerful. The Nation Reached it's economical growth peak in 1990, with the complete transformation of Segasaturn from a Partially Farming Colony itself to a Industrialized independent nation with a Working class and a Ruling class.

The Oppression of the workers continued and many people wondered when it would end. That Answer came in July 1991, when the first attempt to secede from Segasaturn came from East Georgia. Their unique culture was being destroyed by Segasaturnian Capitalists for political gain. In December 1991, after the Liberational Army of Geogria suprisingly defeated the SAF (Segasaturnian Armed Forces) at Der Duetsche Reich City, The 3 Northern Segasaturnian States of Hiro, Pi, and Webton seceded from Segasaturn. The response was one of horror and damage which forced the international community to press sanctions on the Impreral Federation of Segasaturn. This crippled the Once-thriving economy of Segasaturn.

The Great Imperial Federation of Segasaturn then began a turn toward the dis-enchantment of the working class and the Great Segasaturnian Anarchist revolution.
